Areayl Cooper was born and raised in Florida where she spent most of her life studying classical violin. She grew up attending art schools throughout most of her childhood and teenage years. 

Areayl attempted to pursue a medical degree but once she entered university, later decided that she could not stray away from her natural love for the arts. She married her husband in 2013 and they together decided to move across the country to Los Angeles to pursue further career opportunities. Once in Los Angeles, by chance she was given the opportunity to assist on independent feature length films and there she fell in love with the art of costume design. 

Since then, Areayl has been taking every opportunity to learn and create costumes with some of the best costume designers whom she had always idolized. Even gaining some incredible mentors and friendships along the way.

Seeing this as just the beginning to her career and journey into the world of costume designing, she cannot wait for all the opportunities that will present themselves in the future.
